For Adam, life off-grid is about finding space.
Adam plans his weekends a little differently. He is not trying to fill every minute or tick off a long list. He just wants to get out. To find a new spot or head back to one of those old favourites that never disappoint.
When he starts planning a trip, Adam looks for places away from the crowds. “I usually look for somewhere you can have your own space,” he explains. Going off-road gives him that freedom. “You end up in places most people don’t. And that’s what makes it perfect.”
Out there, everything slows down. Cooking becomes simple again. “There’s just something about cooking this way. A simple camp oven, a grill and a fire,” Adam says. “You would be amazed at what you can make. It takes me back to cooking over the fire with dad, where it didn’t have to be perfect.”
As the fire crackles and the light fades, the moments start to settle in. “You have good food, a big fire, and a view that makes you stop for a second,” Adam says. “And to me, that’s what it’s all about.”
For Adam, life outdoors is about space, simplicity, and the kind of weekends that leave you feeling grounded long after the trip ends.
