Spotters Service Support
FAQs
Like any piece of performance equipment, your eyewear requires regular cleaning and maintenance to ensure it stays in premium condition. Check out our frequently asked questions to learn more about how to best care for your eyewear.
What's the best way to clean my sunglasses?
Wash sunglasses regularly in warm soapy water to clean frames and lenses from perspiration, salt and grit build up.
Ensure your sunglasses are completely dry before putting them away.
Broken or lost temples...
Spotters understands that sometimes accidents happen.
If we have spare parts for your sunglasses, we can ship you out a new set of temples for only $10
We send them via AusPost, which usually takes between 5-10 days to
arrive.
Email us at info@spotters.com.au with your frame, shipping address and payment can be made via credit card or bank deposit.
Can I leave my sunglasses in my car?
Never leave your sunglasses on the dashboard of a car or boat. Temperatures above 60°c can be reached inside vehicles, which may seriously warp sunglass frames and/or damage the lenses.
Are dropped sunglasses covered under warranty?
Dropped sunglasses are not covered under a manufacturers warranty as this is considered accidental damage.
But don't worry - we know that accidents happen, so Spotters offer a simple and easy way to have your sunglasses replaced at a reduced cost.
Simply get in touch with us at: info@spotters.com.au
Stretched frames
Unfortunately frames can stretch for a few reasons.
1. Being worn on the top of your head or cap
2. Incorrect fitting frame
3. Exposure to extreme heat
If you would like to us to have a look at your frames, please send your glasses to:
Spotters Repairs
PO Box 887
Bayswater VIC 3153
Ensure you include your name and your best contact number or preferably email address,
as email is generally the easiest way to communicate.
We may be able to manipulate the frame back to original template size, depending on
how stretched it is. We do not charge for the actual frame correction, just the $15 shipping to get them sent back out to
you.
What should I do if I get makeup or sunscreen on my sunglasses?
Wash sunglasses in warm soapy water and ensure they are completely dry before putting them away.
Where should I store my sunglasses when I'm not wearing them?
Always store your glasses in their protective case.
